Moon cakes are a treat that Chinese eat during the Mid Autumn Festival, celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month according to the Chinese Lunar calendar, when the moon is at its roundest and brightest. Last year, my father went to Hong Kong and he brought back the cutest moon cake molds ever.
It included pattern plates of Winnie the Pooh, Doraemon, Hello Kitty and Micky Mouse. But the quality of the mold wasn't really good, because the pattern plate of Hello Kitty got stuck and I can never ever change it to another template again.
